The Centre for Geospatial Analysis provides analytical and technical support to the University of Windsor's GIS community. Furthermore, it promotes the development of regional and international geospatial partnerships
The Centre's main functions are to:
Support all university faculty, staff and students in utilizing geospatial technologies for their teaching and research initiatives. These technologies primarily encompass GIS (Geographic Information Systems), Remote Sensing/Digital Aerial Photography and GPS (Global Positioning Systems).
Facilitate and provide geospatial training for faculty, staff, students and outside professionals.
Maintain all geospatial software licenses and laboratories on campus.
Act as the primary liaison for all geospatial activities on and off campus.
Serve the broader community through partnership and research initatives.
